Montreal boroughs each have their own swimming pools and some have parks with water sprinklers, fountains or spray equipment. Borough facilities are typically accessible, even if you don’t live in that area of Montreal; you may have to pay a bit more.
Depending on your borough, Montreal’s outdoor pools and wading pools open from the end of May to the end of June. Here’s a list of what facilities are available, listed alphabetically by area. Scroll to the end for a list of major commercial water parks.

LaSalle
Municipal facilities: LaSalle is home to the Aquadôme, a great indoor pool for families with young children. The Aquadome has several pools, including a beach-style pool with gradual slope, a baby waterslide and two bigger ones, plus a fountain.

Southwest Borough
This borough is home to the very family friendly Centre Sportif de la Petite Bourgogne, which has an indoor beach-style pool that deepens gradually, plus an indoor wading pool. During family swim time, staff put rubber ducks in the wading pool, a mini slide into the shallow end of the big pool, and make other water gear available to kids.

Verdun
Municipal Facilities: Four outdoor pools, all of which have wading pools. Verdun is home to the Natatorium, an outdoor complex of pools for children; there are shallow pools and lots of water spray/fountain toys here.
